This album is written and produced by Lido Pimienta who is a South American, indigenous, black, immigrant woman. This album discusses issues of misogyny, classism, and racism. Issues that are of everyday encounter in Colombia. Where patriarchal figures have ruled the country throughout history.

This is why as a statement I have taken a Colombian bill with a masculine figure and embroidered a colored woman over the top.
